"The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human body, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease."

Some Basic Definitions about human body:

Qi: Energy or Vital force.

Meridian: A pathway of Qi from the organs to every part of the body.

Qi Stagnation: An interruption in the flow of Qi through the meridians and organs.

Organ Imbalance: A state of abnormal organ function due to deficiency or excess of Qi.

The purpose of Acupuncture and Traditioal Chinese Medicine (TCM) is to restore the flow of Qi back to normal and to have the organs working at their optimal conditions. If detected at early stage, Qi stagnation and organ imbalances may respond well to acupuncture and TCM treatment with an excellent chance for a complete and painless recovery.
